I was married my senior year. My first son was born October 185. The following June I graduated high school.I had already been working on a farm so I continued until I changed jobs to Hilmar Cheese Company in March 1991. During the years there I moved up to special operations and my own office. I was divorced in 2003 with me keeping the house, kids and responsibilities. Both children graduated high school and both are in the military.
Both my parents have passed in the last five years, with kids and parents gone it left me lost and seeking. I turned to the single life which cost me my job in 2006, as well as multiple relationships. I soon hit rock bottom with a meth pipe in hand. Court ordered me to an in-house program. I found myself here at the Mission and a second chance at new life. Since I have been here at the Modesto Gospel Mission, first and foremost I have gained a personal relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am a member at La Loma Grace Brethren Church. I no longer smoke and have been clean an sober for 11 months. The classes like Christian Ethics and Journey of a Lifetime combined with my work schedule and my relationship with Jesus have helped me to change the direction in my life.
