Women & Children’s Program Manager
Becky Martinez has been a part of the Modesto Gospel Mission since February of 2003. Becky first arrived at the Mission as a 22 year-old homeless and drug addicted high school dropout, but in March 2003 accepted Jesus as Lord and has served Him and His people faithfully ever since.
Hired as a full time employee in 2007, Becky reached many milestones while working at the Mission. She worked to receive her high school diploma while at the Mission, and went on to earn her AA through the Modesto Junior College, and earn her Bachelor’s in Theology.
Becky’s entire family has a legacy at the Mission. Her mother, Deborah Pullin, the first of her family to come to the Mission, and served as the Mission’s office manager for many years before being called home to Jesus. Becky’s grandmother was a longtime volunteer who dedicated countless hours to the Mission, and her aunt, cousins, and younger brother participated in the New Life Program. Becky’s husband Carlos also serves at The Mission as the Kitchen & Donations Manager. To Becky the Modesto Gospel Mission is much more than a job or ministry…it’s a home. Becky is grateful to have a place like the Mission to minister and share in victory, and loves her job more and more every day.
