Happy New Year,

What a year! We have persevered through some trying times and prevailed thanks to you! In reflection, we want to share our 2020 numbers with you. We delivered over 40,000 pounds of food directly to doorsteps throughout our community; delivered weekly hygiene (including toilet paper) to over 350 households; delivered 1,437 pairs of new shoes to kids in our community; and held our first-ever virtual gala which raised over $30,000! For Thanksgiving, we distributed 332 warm coats and 837 meals, and for Christmas we DOUBLED our usual output by distributing 3,800 gifts to people in-need through our 10-day “Christmas At The Mission” event! Finally, we managed to provide over 131,000 meals and continue to provide shelter and recovery to those in need in our community, despite the Coronavirus pandemic.

This year was not without its hardships, as we also had over 50 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19. However, we saw recovery and perseverance from our guests and staff and our prayers, as well as yours, were answered as God protected the Mission – helping us continue to serve those in need through these troublesome times. We are praying that our increased impact will continue to grow exponentially moving forward into 2021.

We would like to share the story of Kamila and her mother Tonia with you. Tonia and Kamila signed up for our 2020 “Christmas At The Mission” gift giveaway, and Kamila immediately melted our hearts. She was so excited to get a gift! Tonia, who is pregnant and expecting in April, was also able to receive gifts for her husband and new baby! The Mission was able to remove the financial stress of gifts while also getting Kamila, Tonia, and their family gifts they really wanted!

Families like Tonia and Kamila’s were served because of your generous support. Your gifts are impacting lives every day. Happy 2021!

A message from the Executive Director:
Happy New Year! Yes, the year 2020 is officially behind us! What a year of challenges and hurdles we have faced over the past year. Let us remember the words of Paul from Romans 15:13 as we ring in this New Year “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Although challenging, this year also presented many new opportunities to share the gospel and give hope to those experiencing difficult times. All of this is possible because of you. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus during this pandemic. As we head into the New Year, we can have joy and peace as we trust Him to bring about lasting change to those that we serve. I look forward to serving together to bring change and salvation to those most vulnerable in our community.

Blessings,

Jason Conway, Executive Director
