The Modesto Gospel Mission relies on donations from the community to support our efforts with the homeless. While you can give monetarily, you can also give by donating necessary operation items which we list and update regularly on this page.

Donation FAQ
The Mission does not accept donations of electronics, furniture, home appliances, home decor, medical equipment, adult books, car seats or strollers, used mattresses, used hygiene products, etc. If you have an item you would like to donate that is not listed as acceptable or unacceptable, please call our front offices during business hours.
You may drop off donations at the Mission's donation docks located at 1400 Yosemite Blvd. at any time. Our donation docks are open 6am to 6pm. If you cannot drop off your donation within these hours due to time restraints, items may be accepted by a security guard who will take your donation.
The Mission accepts unopened, expired food products strictly on a case-by-case basis and if the donated items are nonperishable.
Conditions for items varies. The Mission requests that items you donate are in good condition and asks that you do not bring items that are damaged, worn out, or in otherwise unacceptable condition.
You may request a receipt for donations at our donation docks or front office for tax purposes.
